International Field Service Engineer, Marine Industry

 

Current opening for a Field Service Engineer to work within state of the art, world leading and recognized innovator in marine comfort and security systems. 

American Citizenship required and candidates must be able to secure a US passport. ASEE (equivalent may be acceptable) minimal and a more advanced degree, with a high degree of Mechanical Aptitude. 

Must be physically fit in order to work in the tight quarters you will find in the hull of a boat.  Must be able to Install, troubleshoot and repair complex hydraulically and fluid power controlled, electro / mechanical systems, independent of co-worker’s onsite support. 

This is a Salaried Position. 

International travel only, to predominately seacoasts and waterways on continents other than North America

When not traveling, the Field Service Engineer will work within Engineering and Customer Service Departments; not on the production floor. 

Travel is usually during the week and home for the weekends.  Travel to far-flung places such as Asia and Australia may take longer. 

Travel is estimated at approximately 10% to 25%normally; 40% + may be required during spikes.
