Criminal Background and pre-employment drug
test is mandatory
Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and
electronic principles as applied to assemble and testing procedures. Ability to interpret drawings, schematics,
and use basic assembly and testing tools.
High School degree plus specialized training equal to 2 years of
college.
Perform technical laboratory duties to help
with the development, testing and/or modification of prototype or production
parts. This position is aimed at
increasing the productivity of the engineering team by providing testing /
fabrication support and performing all other non-technical tasks to free up the
core engineer’s time.

Install
and construct new testing equipment under close supervision. Do test stand setups and maintain laboratory
tools.
·
Run test as directed such as endurance test,
performance test, noise test and record all necessary information. A review of the various tasks should be
conducted with the engineer (s) before the testing is started to ensure the
various task is properly set-up.

Assemble
or construct samples / prototype components from drawings or sketches.
·
Help
engineer (s) in preparing performance curves and analyzing data.
·
Perform
testing procedures in the Laboratory and record all necessary data. Accuracy of data is critical. All submitted test reports should be double
checked for accuracy.

Keep
Laboratory facilities in a clean and orderly environment.
·
Remove
and dispose of all garbage and waste.
·
Clean
machine shop area and return all tools to proper location.
·
Return
all tools and equipment to proper location.
·
NOTE: Coordinate the tasks noted above with the
engineer (s) to ensure they are completed with their work / assignment.

Coordinate
all shipping of samples / components per engineer (s) or
·
Provide
daily update to engineering team on work in process and work planned. The format for this update is a quick email.
·
Fulfill
other functions as required or assigned.
