Sales / Business Development Manager

 

POSITION SUMMARY:

Leadership position responsible for sales/marketing for designated customer(s) and/or market segment. Completely understands customer needs and drives internal resources to meet, and exceed, those needs. Manages all aspects of the customer interface. Plans and manages growth of sales within the designated customer(s) and /or market.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor’s degree in engineering discipline (ME preferred).
    • Previous sales, program management and/or account management experience required.
    • 5-10 years experience in product/component design preferably in a high tech/precision component environment.

 

QUALIFICATIONS/OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

    • Prior experience in a Technical/Sales position (Ceramics or Precision Components/Systems preferred).
    • Demonstrated experience in Program/Account Management with direct customer interface.
    • Ability to prepare presentations focusing on a range of technical and program topics.
    • Excellent communication skills (verbal/written).
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (less than 25%).
    • Ability to occasionally lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs.

 

Located in Southwest Connecticut.   Salary Target $125K and +.
